Break up the hum-drum of your typical workday with a unique + fun team-building activity. Host a private modern calligraphy, brush lettering workshop or happy-hour style activity with Inkscripted Studios for team building, celebrations, conferences, retreats, events, and more!

Lettering workshops last can last anywhere between 1 to 2 hours (based on your group’s needs)— and includes live demonstration, instruction, and practice with the Inkscripted Studios team. We are happy to arrange supplies if needed.

How to Book

  • Fill out our contact form to inquire about booking a workshop. Please share as many details as you have at this time— such as est. headcount, location, desired length of workshop, etc.

  • We will let you know if we are available for your desired date— once confirmed, you will receive an email from us to secure your booking.

  • Once your date is officially reserved, get excited for your class! Cathy will work on gathering supplies and will be in touch.

Are supplies included?

Supplies can be included as an additional cost. Let us know when inquiring if you'd like us to take care of materials prep or if you'd prefer to source.

Our kit may include:

  • Custom calligraphy handouts & alphabet

  • Practice worksheets & additional paper

  • Folder for keeping your practice pages

  • Pens, pencil and/ or ink

What can our attendees expect?

Come excited to learn a new skill! During the workshop, one of our instructors will walk you through how to use your tools, guide you through some warm-up drills and practice throughout the session. At the end of the class, you’ll get to create a personalized item to show off your new calligraphy skills.

How are workshops priced?

Prices can range anywhere between $65-$95 per person,— depending on factors such as type of class (brush pen or traditional calligraphy pen or Chinese calligraphy), class length, and expected guest count.

Generally, workshops are capped at 20-25 people.

If you anticipate more attendees, consider holding multiple sessions.

Basic: up to 10 people | starting at $650

Standard: up to 15 people | starting at $975

Premium: up to 25 people | starting at $1625
