Once upon a time, the dream was to travel the world and work in the world of global affairs & international education. Adding up all the places I’ve either traveled to or lived in, the total comes out to 15+ countries— and counting! And now, I get to travel across the US and the world for calligraphy events. 

Art and appreciation for beautiful writing have been a part of my life since childhood. My respite as a quiet, introverted kid was getting to sit and just let my creativity flow out at my weekend art classes.

My dad, a master of Chinese brush calligraphy, initially introduced me to the practice— and I remember being so mesmerized by how seamlessly he put pen to paper. Then in 2021, I took an online calligraphy course and my love for calligraphy eventually evolved into the passion-driven business, that today, is Inkscripted Studios. 

As an Asian-American, woman-owned and run business, I am so grateful to share my love for pretty handwriting and the joy it brings to others. Calligraphy isn’t just for luxury brands or fancy events! It’s an opportunity to build a meaningful connection by making someone feel seen & appreciated through even the smallest of gestures.

My favorite part of running a creative business is getting to build connections with all the amazing people that I encounter, both through social media & in real life! I love what I do and it brings me joy when my clients enjoy the process of bringing to life their creative vision!
